WHAT IS THE MOMS CLUB® OF LOS ALAMOS?

MOMS Club® of Los Alamos is  a support group designed just for you, the at-home mother of today!  
I wanted to start this chapter to reach out to other moms out there.

You might be looking for other moms to get advice from. On the other hand,  you may be quite 
the opposite, knowing lots of other moms, but wanting to help others in the community. We have over 35 members and  are continuing to grow.

 We are looking for both types of moms so that we can build a support network for one of the 
toughest jobs out there, the Stay-at-home-mom.

  We are a volunteer organization run completely by our own members here in Los Alamos; 
In other words we tailor make our own MOMS Club® experience!  You can attend as many or as 
few functions as you like. 


The MOMS Club® (MOMS Offering Moms Support) is an international, non-profit organization which 
provides support for mothers who are at home full or part-time with their children during 
the day.  MOMS Club® believes being a mother should not isolate you, so children are 
welcome at all functions.

The goals of this group include providing moral support to at-home mothers, presenting a forum 
of topics of interest to women, planning enriching, wholesome activities for children that 
will enhance social skills, and performing service projects that benefit others.

Our dues are $15.00 per year.  We understand that being an at-home mother often means a tight 
family budget.  If dues would be a hardship for your family, please talk to the group’s President.


The first Tuesday of the month at 10:30 am is our General Meeting. We will alternate between 
White Rock and Los Alamos.  The General Meeting provides an opportunity for the membership to keep
 abreast of the club’s activities, share ideas with other moms, and participate in the decision 
making process for the group.  Several times a year we have special events at our General Meeting
 such as our Valentine’s Day Party and Holiday Party. You do not have to 
attend the monthly general meeting to be in the MOMS Club.

Each month our club publishes a newsletter highlighting upcoming events, current membership
 information, and other club business. You may choose to receive a paper copy or e-mail version
 of the newsletter.
